AT THE ADOPTION CENTER

The Colony Cats Adoption Center is a completely different experience in sheltering homeless companion cats. While most of our felines still live in foster homes, we now can bring them out into the public with our cage free adoption center. Cats can do what comes naturally – jump, run, climb, and play; but only until they find their way into your heart and home.

A fun way you can help out is to donate useful items to the center. Here's a wish list that our kitties put together – your participation will make their wishes come true! (of course, their biggest wish is a forever home) Click here to download our wish list. Print it and take it with you while out shopping, or share it with others by posting it in your community. Please drop off wish list items during the center's open hours. You can also donate items via our online wish lists. Click here to shop our Amazon list. Click here to shop our list on Chewy.com Quickly and easily purchase food, litter and other supplies you want to donate and they'll ship directly to us.

ADOPTABLE ANIMALS

View our adoptable pets on our Petfinder list below or on Petfinder.com. All have been vaccinated, spayed/neutered, tested, microchipped, and are living in foster care, at our adoption center, or at one of our partner store locations waiting for you to bring them to their loving, forever home.

We currently have 100 to 150 cats and kittens (as well as several dogs and puppies) available for adoption. Loving forever homes are urgently needed so that we can continue rescuing friendly, stray cats who otherwise may not survive on the streets or on "death row" at shelters. During the winter months, the plight of abandoned, domesticated cats becomes an even more life-or-death situation.

Whether you're thinking about adopting your first cat, or wish to make room for another, now's the time to choose a new feline companion. With every cat that gets adopted, we are able to make room for another who desperately needs assistance. When you adopt, you transform two lives - that of your chosen feline friend and the next cat we can then rescue.

Adoption fees are:
Cats / Kittens: $50 – $100
Dogs / Puppies: $125 – $300

We adopt domesticated cats to indoor-only homes.
For more information, or if you have questions regarding adoption, please contact us by email or by phone at 614.570.0471.

Colony Cats does not endorse declawing. What does it mean to declaw a cat? The following articles explain, and offer reasons not to declaw as well as alternatives.
